Rare Vintage 1970s Maha Maherajah Exotic Hardwood 65-1/2 Slalom Water Ski & Bag

  
Maherajah has been building custom high performance water skis since 1950 and has been the primary innovator of the sport and have pioneered and developed industry standard features such as the high wrap binding, drop through fin, tunnel concave bottom, beveled edge and the stiff ski. What we have here is a vintage 1970s custom and crafted for my husband by Bob Maher (who at this writing is 86 and still working) Maherajah slalom waterski. This beautiful hand-made ski is fashioned from exotic hardwoods and measures approximtely 65-1/2" to 66" in length and 6.5 at the widest point.

The boot size is approximately for a 9-1/2 or 10 shoe. As you can see from the photos this beauty had minimal use, was very well maintained and was only used in fresh lake and delta water by one owner.

There are no dings, no damage, no repairs. Other than some normal rope chaffing (see pic), the bevel, fin, deck and bottom are in excellent condition.

Primary photo is showing white glare from skylight above. This has been stored in its original bag which is included and doubtful there is another available in this amazing condition.
